Our client is a well established and fast expanding Tea Factory. The Board has retained us to recruit on its behalf, a high-caliber person as General Manager to steer the Company to continuous growth in terms of volume and quality of green leaf as well as made tea.
Kenya Jobs: General Manager (GM)
The General Manager will be responsible to the Board for all company operations, including implementing policy decisions of the, Board.
Key Result Areas of the job will include, improving volume and quality of green leaf and made tea; establishing systems and procedures; putting in place effective communication systems between the Company and the outgrowers, among management staff as well as the Board.
We are interested in Kenya Citizens aged between 35 and 50 years.
He/she should have a university degree in Agriculture with fifteen (15) years experience within the tea sector, eight of which should be at senior management level either as Factory Manager or as Zonal Manager.
He/she should be computer literate and should be able to demonstrate leadership qualities, integrity as well as being a team-player.
A negotiable salary package will be offered to the selected candidate.
