Kenya Jobs: Regional Humanitarian Coordinator
Trócaire is an Irish Catholic development organization, which works in solidarity with local development actors in over 30 countries throughout the developing world.
Based in Nairobi with regional travel, including to insecure environments, the successful candidate will manage Trócaire’s regional humanitarian portfolio, working closely with partners, providing technical leadership and support to programming and strengthening relationships with humanitarian networks and key stakeholders.
The successful candidates will have:
- Master’s Degree in Development Studies or equivalent work experience, with a proven international track record of coordinating humanitarian programmes within an international context.
- Knowledge of key issues and trends in development is essential, as is the ability to manage and build capacity of partner organizations. The candidate is expected to have experience in fundraising and the management of institutional donor contracts, as well as experience of managing a diverse team, and great team working skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential.
Terms & Conditions: All contracts are for 1 year, with the possibility of renewal.
